Using topical therapy to treat pets with skin infections is incredibly important to help resolve infections, prevent future infections from occurring, soothe irritated/inflamed skin, and repair the skin barrier function. Douxo S3 PYO mousse is an advanced topical therapy, which contains chlorhexidine (a topical antiseptic indicated for the treatment of superficial Staphylococcal pyoderma) and ophytrium (a natural ingredient that promotes healthy skin, reduces inflammation, and regulates the cutaneous microbiome (the healthy bacteria on skin). The mousse should be applied to the coat and skin three times weekly. It is applied by dispensing one to two pumps into the hands then applied directly onto the pet. Gently massage into the skin to allow the mousse to penetrate, starting with the affected body areas, then move generally. Multiple pumps of product may be needed to cover the entire body. Pay attention to avoid the area between the eyes and mouth. Allow to dry naturally. Do not rinse.
